Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of session by the Host

We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a public (ticketed) event for any reason. In the event a public (ticketed) event is cancelled by Studio of the Sol, the purchaser will be notified via email or text message no later than 24 hours prior to their session scheduled start time. Ticket purchasers will be offered tickets to another upcoming session, credited the value of their purchase for future use, or provided a refund.

Customer Rescheduling / Cancellations

Registrations for workshops are strictly non-refundable. If you wish to reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hrs before the purchased event by emailing your request to hello@studioofthesol.com or phoning us on +61 414 011 773.

Your request will be processed if it complies with the rescheduling policy at Studio of the Sol.

Please contact us if you are unable to reschedule another day within 48hrs of your booking. We still gift you with a beautiful necklace created by our host for you to collect and take home at your earliest convenience.

Code of Conduct

Participant Behaviour

All guests agree to display, promote, and encourage safe and respectful behavior to other participants and staff.

The fee will not be refunded if a participant is excluded from an event because of a breach of this clause. 

Children (9 - 17 years)

During Studio of the Sol workshops, children attending one of our workshops are expected to demonstrate adequate behavior at all times.

Our facilitators are not responsible for managing the behaviour of participants. Any disruptive behaviour, non-compliance with instructions, and any other behaviour that interrupts the program, will be determined by our facilitator at their sole discretion. This may result in your child being asked to leave the workshop. The parent will be contacted and asked to quickly remove the child from the workshop. The fee will not be refunded if a participant is excluded from an event because of a breach of this clause. 

Unfortunately parents can not attend the session due to the size of the space, and that children sometimes are restricted when parents are present. This is a safe space for each individual to connect with there inner-self and create from within without the distraction of parents.

Event Information

Private Workshops

Private workshops are available for groups of 8 individuals, but can possibly be exteneded to a maximum of 10 participants.

These private workshops are perfect for parties, gatherings and special events. If you would like to book a private event please send an email to hello@studioofthesol.com.

Private workshops will run as all workshops but solely consisting of your guests.

Alcohol & BYO

Unless otherwise advertised, our events are for guests aged 18+ years. Whilst a liquor licence is not required to operate a BYO venue (Liquor Act 2007), Studio of the Sol take precautions to operate responsibly in our studios such as:

• Refusing entry to intoxicated guests.

• Providing drinking water.

• Encouraging responsible alcohol consumption to all guests, including asking guests to stop consuming alcohol.

• Asking intoxicated guests to leave the studio.

• Following Responsible Service of Alcohol protocols.

The following beverages are accepted as BYO options:

• Beer, wine, cider, and pre-mixed sealed beverages.

It is illegal for any person to supply liquor to a minor or permit a minor to drink liquor in a BYO venue. Studio of the Sol prohibits underage drinking and will be entitled to refuse entry to or eject any guests who do not comply with these conditions.

Studio of the Sol is strictly smoke-free (including e-cigarettes or vaping) and smoking is not permitted under any circumstances.

Food

We also offer grazing boards upon request. These must requested at least 48 hours in advance of the workshop, and full payment is required at the time of ordering.

Grazing Boxes include food that contains or may contain: peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, sesame seeds, fish, shellfish, soy, lupin, wheat. Please let us know any dietary requirements, food intolerances or allergies you may have.

Grazing Boxes are $55.00 for 2 people to share.

Disclosure for photography and video

During our session for the purpose of social media content, photos and videos may be taken.

We will notify guests at the beginning of a class if recording is taking place, whereby the guest may opt out of being filmed. Consent may be withdrawn at anytime.

We ask that any requests for removal of photos be sent via email to hello@studioofthesol.com the subject line ‘Photo Removal Request’.
